How to Make a Pyramid with an Octagonal Base
A pyramid is a polyhedron that has one base and different faces that are triangles. A pyramid may have as many faces as the polygon sides of the base. We show you how to make a pyramid with an octagonal base.
- Template (alternatively, get a pencil, rubber and ruler to draw it)
- Paper, card or cardboard
The first step is to copy this template for a pyramid with an octagonal base. Use paper, cardboard or paperboard, as you wish.
Cut out the template for the pyramid with an octagonal base with scissors.
Fold along all the lines of the template. Try to mount the pyramid's octagonal base before using glue to be clear where each tab will go.
Put glue on one of the tabs and paste it into place. Press it with your fingers so that it is well secured. Do the same with the others.
