The first thing we need to do is to get hold on a woollen mat or similar. You can also buy one at a specialized shop or even supermarkets. Woollen mats are typical decorations people used to use to decorate the table so decoration items wouldn't scratch it.

Next, blow a balloon until it's about 15 centimeters (6 in) in diameter. The balloon will be used to turn the mat into a very original and elegant candle holder, now you'll see how.

Pour a bit of white glue in a plastic bowl. You can buy this glue that gives rigidity to materials here.

Straight after, mix the glue with a bit of water and soak the mat so the vintage candle holder gets the shape we want.
