  • Choose the place where you want to make the Rangoli, and clean it thoroughly using water and soap. Before starting making the Rangoli, make sure that you remove any soap residues properly. Traditionally, Indians used to smear cow dung, dry it, and draw Rangoli on it to place on different locations of the house. Earlier, people used to sweep their house everyday, sprinkle cow dung on all door steps, and draw Rangoli designs daily.
