You'll only need six plastic bottles, so it's actually a good way to reuse and recycle old bottles you might have around at home. Once you've made them, you'll only need to buy the jello powder and prepare it as you usually do.

Steps to follow:

First of all, start by cutting off the base of the plastic bottles at around 4 cm - 1 1/2 inches - high. Make sure the border is straight and even!

Once that's done, wash well the bases of the bottles - they ought to look like cups now - and dry them thoroughly. This is very, very important!


There you go - now you have some brand new cups you can use as molds. This is how to make jello molds - but you can also use them for other recipes!
