Glue paste is usually used as adhesive paste or glue, specially for handcraft. It is made with a base of flour and water, and is very resistant, especially to stick material such as paper and cardboard, although it doesn't work on plastic. It's very useful to do children's activities, as it's a non-toxic product and is also very cheap to make. In this OneHowTo.com article we'll tell you how to make glue paste at home.

You'll need:

  • 1 cup of very hot water
  • 3 spoonfuls of flour
  • Cold water
  • 1 spoonful of sugar

Steps to follow:

The first thing you need to do in order to make glue paste is to mix the flour in cold water, you should add enough water to make all the flour humid and create a considerably liquid paste.

On the other hand, to make the glue paste, you'll have to pour water in a pot or similar and put it under heat to boil.

Pour the flour mix in hot water, stirring constantly and leave it to boil.

When the mix has thickened, let the glue paste cool down. You can also add a pinch of sugar so it has a stronger consistency.

If you need to, you can also add coloring to the paste so it has your preferred tone.
